Hey guys,
I really like your project. So I decided to add your repository to my IPFS-Cluster. IPFS is a file sharing network which allows easy to data stored on it via a local http gateway.
In addition to share the stored data on the internet, IPFS also provides an easy way to share the data recently downloaded with other instances on the local network. So computers running on the local network do share the updates received over IPFS automatically.
The IPFS-Cluster also servers the regular repositories for Arch itself, EndeavourOS, Manjaro and the Chaotic-AUR.
Setup instructions can be found on the project page:
https://github.com/RubenKelevra/pacman.store/blob/master/README.md
The cluster itself is listed here, with the instructions how to join it (and hold a copy of the data):
https://collab.ipfscluster.io/
Hope you like the idea!
Best regards,
Ruben
Hi @RubenKelevra,
good idea, why not. I think we can integrate this (commented out) in a new mirror release. Comment can include a link to either this issue or the guide you linked, with a hint that it requires some setup before working.
Thanks! :)
The next release includes the .ipfs and a hint in the mirror file. I plan to release this sometime tomorrow.
